For the time being, I'm going to assume that most people will test and deploy in a passive manner, so I'm going to finish that documentation first.  If you're interested in deploying active, you probably want to do a Linux bridge and use the HiPPIE netfilter plugin, which is built into the kernel, but I haven't posted the code for the iptables extension.  Check back here, or let me know at the e-mail at the bottom of the page that you're interested, and I'll either talk you through it or get these docs going a little faster.  Also, sign up for the mailing lists and you can talk through it there!  Thanks
