Well, I said it would be this week, and sure enough there it is.  HiPPIE 0.9.1 is available.  It's been put up on SourceForge and is available at the download page.  There are 2 main things that are changed with this version of HiPPIE.  First of all, HiPPIE will now patch against Linux kernel 2.6.24 and newer.  Even better however, is the second feature.  HiPPIE can now process packets both inbound and outbound from a system.  By setting a different value in the interfaces proc, you can enable a system to process packets in both directions.  This work, now done, actually makes HiPPIE usable by people with desktop systems who are curious about their protocol uses.  To read more about this, check out the proc documentation.  Hopefully this will help some folks out, so check it out, and let me know!
